Maharashtra withdraws it’s general consent, restricts CBI

The Maharashtra Government has decided to withdraw it’s general consent given to CBI for carrying out investigation in the state. This implies, that CBI will now have to seek permission everytime from the state or the Supreme Court before initiating any investigation within it’s border.
