Infosys takes over US-based digital service provider Blue Acorn iCi


On Thursday, Infosys Ltd publicized an agreement to take over US-based Blue Acorn iCi for around $125 million. Blue Acorn iCi is a digital customer experience, commerce, and analytics solutions provider.

In 2019, Blue Acorn iCi generated $43.6 million revenue and the Infosys acquisition is expected to close during the third quarter of 2021, as per reports.

A statement issued by Infosys stated that this move will strengthen the company’s end-to-end customer experience and depicts the company’s efforts towards sustained commitment to transform and navigate clients’ digital journeys.

Through merging of high-end customer experience, analytics, digital commerce, and reliable commerce services; the Adobe Platinum Partner is expected to benefit Infosys on cross-technology platforms.

Blue Acorn iCi provides services that consist of strategy, engineering, design, and analytics which helps to raise the top, marquee, global brands from manufacturing and technology, media, consumer goods, and retail to financial, information technology services.

Infosys earlier acquire Wongdoody, a company that provides creative marketing services. Together with Wongdoody and Blue Acorn iCi, Infosys hopes to help global chief marketing officers (CMOs) and businesses to propel in the world of digital commerce.
