As your body adjusts to the rhythm of regular exercise and establishes it as the new normal, your pulse will slow down and stabilize. It is important hence to exercise regularly, a steady pulse even under intense physical activity is a sign of fitness and the body being in good shape.
With lack or less of water, the heart just pumps up blood to push in the thick blood with much more force, causing an increase in the pulse rate. This acts as a signal from your body to consume more water and make it easier for the heart to perform its primary function of pumping blood.
