Qatar Funds set to acquire stakes in Mumbai Airport after talks with Adani Group

Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) is set to acquire a minority stake in Mumbai International Airport Limited as Adani Airport Holdings Limited is in talks to sell it’s recently possessed airport’s stakes with the Gulf giant.

The unit of Adani Enterprises Limited is seeking fundraising of around $750 million from the sale of the airport’s stake. The Qatar Investment Authority was expecting to invest directly into the Mumbai Airport operator but it may also seek to buy a minority stake in the parent company — Adani Airport Holdings Limited.
