On Tuesday afternoon, Oil India Limited’s (OIL) gas well blew out in Assam’s Tinsukia district. The consequent fire will take around four weeks to be completely restored, as reported by OIL authorities.  On Tuesday, OIL authorities reported that the well caught fire while clearing procedures were being undertaken at the site.
